"building custom environments that delight your customers … and encourage children to dream and create … all in the world of Imagination Playground"
In 2008 Imagination Playground was commissioned by The New York Department of Parks & Recreation. The city, under then mayor Michael Bloomberg, was interested in taking a vacant lot buried in the city's Financial District – and turning it into a family destination. The mission was accomplished – and the Imagination Playground park attracts millions of parents and children each year.
In 2012 The National Building Museum, Washington DC commissioned Imagination Playground to build a four-room exhibit – including the museum's antique toy collection – a small-block room, a big-block room (featuring a revolutionary block building wall), and a digital electric block room. Each month the exhibit attracts approximately 10,000 visitors – new and repeat – the children never tire of the opportunity to play and build.
In 2014 Imagination Play Spaces was launched – providing an opportunity for institutions (museums, hotels and resorts, shopping centers and retailers, schools, more) to create environments that become a true destination, are perceived positively by the public, attract families and children, and enhance your brand image.
Imagination Playground works with your design and installation teams to make your Imagination Playground dreams come true.
